Longmoor = A 2-10-0 Austerity, Longmoor was sent with the British Army to carry supplies to the troops. He is painted in Royal Blue with red stripes, and from a distance, many of the engines confused him with Gordon. He is a strong engine and a hard worker, but sometimes lets the horrors of what he saw during the war get to him. However, with kind help from the other engines, he overcame his fears and happily pulls heavy mineral trains from the quarry to the docks.

Kathy = An ex-Midland Railway 2-4-0, Kathy is painted in scarlet with shining brass. She pulls mainly passenger trains, but also goods trains as well. Always happy to help, she is a great listener and many engines come to her when needing advice or someone to talk to.

Sarah = One of the smallest engines on Sodor, Sarah hardly says anything to other engines. Her quiet attitude is a result of being bullied by bigger engines when she worked on the South Eastern and Chatham Railway. After the war, she had hoped that the feeling of unity experienced by the whole railway during the Blitz would have improved things, but apparently not, and after the diesels took over and made her life as miserable as possible, she ran away and was later found in an abandoned shed on Sodor. She was put onto shunting duties at Vicarstown, and then awarded her own branch line in the forest to make up for her bad time. Lately she has begun to open up to the other engines, but is still wary of bigger engines, except Edward, who has always been very kind to her, and Laurence. Her prototype is an ex-SECR P 0-6-0T

Laurence = A powerful 2-8-0, Laurence spent most of his life hauling heavy freight trains. He is a unique class of engine, built from plans for a Great Eastern Heavy Freight Engine built at Crovan's Gate for the LNER, but was shipped back to Sodor for use on general freight trains. Like Sarah, he experienced bullying and hostility from other engines, especially diesel engines. He gets on very well with Sarah, who, despite her phobia of big engines, opened up to him after realising that he'd had similar problems to her and now sees him as a sort of big brother. He is a very gentle engine, and sports a black and gold livery.

Empress = A spoiled and rather haughty Stanier Princess Royal Pacific 4-6-2, Empress came as a spare engine to help with Gordon's express train, the Wild Nor Wester. She did well on this, and boasted that the Fat Controller would replace Gordon with her. However, after a race with Gordon and a stern reprimand from the Fat Controller, she apologised and was allowed to stay on Sodor. She is still haughty, but now thinks twice before boasting. Her livery is deep crimson.

Macduff = An old Scottish engine, Macduff arrived on Sodor to help Edward on his branch line. He has a strong Scottish accent and has a Scottish attitude, i.e. doesn't always listen to the 'English' engines. However, once he met Donald and Douglas, he changed completely and is always a welcome visitor to the sheds. His prototype in a LNER D40 and his colour is green and brown.

Minnie and Binnie = A pair of Y7 0-4-0s late of Newcastle docks, Minnie and Binnie are a pair of mischievous shunters who work in the yards of the Sodor China Clay Works. Minnie is the forward, outgoing twin, while Binnie is quiet and reserved, however she does get on well with her sister. When they fist arrived, they were so mischievous that the Fat Controller sent them to work at different parts of the island, Minnie at the China Clay Works, and Binnie to work with Mavis. They calmed down after this, and now work well wherever they are, but they do enjoy challenging Bill and Ben to races around the yards when no-one's looking.

Callie = An ex-Caledonian 4-2-2, built for exhibition purposes, Callie was given her nickname by Douglas, whom she has affections for. This caused an intense amount of jealousy with Donald, but that has since settled down and Callie happily works fast trains from Barrow and Vicarstown, and also fast mail trains. She sports a sky blue livery with white and black lining

Kitchener = His full name is 'The Sodor Regiment' after the island's army regiment, but he was given his nickname on arrival to help along the Fat Controller's extension line. He used to do everything with strict army discipline, but sobered up when his 'disciplinary' methods almost killed himself and a few other engines. His livery is black with the crest of the Sodor Regiment on his tender.

Splinter =When the Fat Controller decided to open the Sodor Timber Corporation, it was clear that he would need an engine to work there to shunt the trucks of timber and make deliveries to and from the sawmill. As all his engines were working, he bought a small industrial engine with an odd history. Originally built by Hunslet of Leeds, it was sold to America for use in the timber industry (hence it's headlamp, cow catcher and bell), then came back to Great Britain after the war. The Fat Controller named him Splinter and put him to work at his sawmill. Splinter is a cheerful, friendly engine who loves nothing more than the smell of freshly cut timber. He works hard on the sawmill, but his favourite job is delivering dynamite for forest clearing!
Hey, this is just a little something I whipped up after I read Sherri Kitsune's Engine Bio's, I had the urge to do something like that as well, copycat that I am Lol. Anyways, I will be writing stories for these guys soon, and I'll do pictures of protoypes for Laurence and Splinter as soon as I've gained confidence with MS Paint (it's so confusing)
