I'm back (EDITED)

Sat Jul 18, 2009, 1:25 PM
Whaddup ma dawgs?...I mean, good evening ladies and jellybeans XD

I got back from Poole earlier today, before 12 am, and I was fairly impressed by that. Overall, my holiday can be summed up as being bloody brilliant.

The first two days were mainly settling in, buying food and looking around the twon. Then on Monday the real fun started.

First we went to Beaulei, i.e. the National Motor Museum, and saw some amazingly beautiful old cars (as well as a 3-wheeled machine part-built in Bristol by G.J. Churchward, CME of the GWR), as well as the Top Gear exhibition, which rocked (I never realised how hilarious Top Gear is until the episode with a race between Clarkson, May and the Hamester, featuring Tornado). The day after that, was LazerQuest, essentially indoor paintballing only with lazers. I really enjoyed myself with that, although I think the guy managing the areana was fed up with us by the time we left XD. On Wedfnesday it was another shopping trip, but I got myself another book which was funsies. On Thursday we were meant to be going to the Tank Museum or Swanage Railway, but for some reason that didn't work out, so we went bowling instead. Not as fn as I'd imagined, but it was still a good day, especially when we went for a look around the shops at Bournemouth.

And then the next day, we went to the Swanage Railway, which would have been much better if not for the fact that it was raining most of the time we were there. Nonetheless, I still had a great time. We started out with a jaunt along the line from one end to the other other with Number 80078 Standard Class 4MT 2-6-4, then headed back, with a stop at the museum at Corfe Castle. It's quite a fascinating collection, with the centerpiece being the unique 0-6-0T Secundus. Seriously, some of the photos I got of her look very similar to the shots of Lady in Burnett Stone's workshops in TatMR. In short, a very worthy visit :) Then after that we saw the new Harry Potter film. I thought it was alright, the acting from Jim Broadbent was wonderfuls, but I was peeved at the amount of stuff left out from the book. Still, I'd say it was enjoyable...

Anywho, I'm back now. I've been sooo lazy lately with art-trades, requests, and general fan-material. But I havent forgotten you guys, and you'll see more from me in the future. In other words, I'm back baby!

*Also, just to say that I'm making a slight change to Accused in terms of plot. Tis my fan-fiction after all.
